Welcome curlfriend! I'm Sarah, a curl specialist proudly serving our Mid-Michigan community.
As a busy working mom of two, and curly girl myself, I know just how important it is to have a simple styling plan that leaves me feeling put together. I too understand the struggle of not knowing what to do, what to use, where to turn, or who to trust with your curls. For these reasons, I’ve designed my studio suite and guest experience in a way that will have you feeling right at home, and will leave you feeling encouraged, equipped, and more confident than ever.
I’ve been a stylist for 20+ years, and have never been more in love with my guests or my craft. I specialize in creating custom, holistic curl solutions for my guests with curl cuts, education, and healthy color services. Education is a core value of my business and is evident both in how I teach my guests and in my commitment to attending ongoing training within my specialties annually.

While most stylists offer great hair services, I see our relationship a bit differently. I see it as a partnership…serving you by collaborating with you, meeting you where you are at on your curly journey, and working together to get your curls where you want them to be. Our partnership begins and builds trust well before you sit in my chair, grows as we work together to reach your curl goals, and winds between our visits through continuing support and education.
When I’m not wearing my stylist hat, you can probably find me in my chauffeur hat as I get my kids to all of the places they need to go, my chef hat as I am tackling a new recipe for my family, or my sun hat - as I look to get outdoors with my crew as often as I can for dog walks, camping adventures, trips to our beautiful Michigan beaches, farmers market strolls, and any chance I can dine outside. At about 2pm everyday you will find me in my barista hat, whipping up a latte to launch me through the rest of my day. My guests look forward to trying out my newest coffee creation or signature latte at their suite visits!
