Book Your Appointment
New guest appointments open for booking at 6pm on the 1st of each month for the following month, and are available while supplies last. ​​​​​​

If all appointments have been booked for the month, feel free to add yourself to the waitlist below in the case an appointment becomes available. You are welcome to check availability and add yourself to the waitlist at any time.

You will receive my welcome email with everything you need to know to be fully prepared for your time with me.
Get excited...
You will receive a message asking you to kindly confirm your appointment 72 hours prior to your visit to help me prepare for our time together, as well as reminder messages. Now all you have to do is get excited...your session is about to begin!

Are you taking new clients?Absolutely! In order to offer both loyal guests and new guests the very best experience possible, I offer a limited number of new guest appointments each month. New guest appointments are booked on a first come, first serve basis, while availability lasts.

How do I book an appointment?New guests are invited to book on the New Guests page. Established guests are welcome to book thru the Loyal Guest Lounge. Appointments open up for booking at 6pm on the 1st of each month, for the following month.

Do you offer appointments for kids?Yes! All sessions and pricing are gender and age neutral. If you are still uncertain about which new guest session will be best for your child, feel free to email me and we can discuss your options.

How does the waitlist work?If you don’t see any appointments available, or a day/time that works for you, you can add yourself to the monthly waitlist. If a cancellation causes an appointment to become available, those on the current waitlist will be notified and given the opportunity to book. The waitlist will clear at the end of each month, feel free to check availability and add yourself to the waitlist at any time!

Am I even a candidate for curl services?If you have a natural bend to your strands (anything from a loose wave to a tight curl) and desire to wear your hair in its natural state exclusively or the majority of the time, then curl services would be a good fit for you! If you are new to your curl, unsure, or are curious to learn more, the New Guest Curl Care Session may be a good fit for you! Visit the services page here to learn more.

Does Haven offer color services too?Yes, I offer low maintenance, dimensional coloring and highlighting services to accentuate healthy curls! I am happy to consult at a new guest session on what coloring services would be a good fit to help you reach your color goals at a future visit.

Do you cut curls wet or dry?In most cases, your curl cut will be done on dry hair so that your curls can be cut as they live naturally and to create visual balance. In some cases, based on hair density, texture, curl pattern and desired result, and determined in our consultation, your curl cut may be done on wet hair or a combination of wet and dry cutting in order to help you achieve your desired goal.

Can I bring a friend with me to my new guest session?In order to ensure the most comfortable and educational experience possible, I ask that all adult guests come alone to their appointment. If you are traveling and have a friend/partner with you, they are welcome to wait in our lounge area (wi-fi and amenities are available), or I have a list of local eateries and shops in the area to help make their wait more enjoyable! Please note that children and teen guests are welcome to bring one adult support person to learn with us!

Do you offer product recommendations?Ensuring you know what care and styling tools to use and how to use them effectively to reach your desired goals is a pillar of the Haven Curls signature methodology. For this reason, I do not offer specific product recommendations outside of curl sessions. If you are seeking custom recommendations and a styling plan, then the New Guest Curl Discovery Session would be a good fit for you. For general curl product knowledge and recommendations, connect with me on Instagram where I share free curl education weekly.

Do I have to use your products/product line if I work with you?Absolutely not! There is no pressure to purchase products used in our session. Due to the fact that what you do and what you use are critical to creating your best results, those who are open to learning how to use new product tools and techniques as well as invest in high performing, clean beauty do tend to see better results and gain more value from their session.
